Domestic Registrations Open for Summer 2022/23

Team Registrations

Team Entry Close Dates

Seniors – Sunday 11th September 2022

Juniors – Sunday 25th September 2022

We will continue to accept entries after this date for the grading period however we highly recommend teams register ASAP.

Player Registrations

All player registrations are completed through the link provided by your team manager.

All players must be registered prior to taking the court.

The Southern Peninsula Basketball Association SUMMER 2022/23 domestic competitions will resume from Monday 19th September 2022 for the ‘TH Exclusive’ Senior competition and Saturday 1st October 2022 for the ‘Peninsula Orthodontics’ Junior competition.

By-Laws are provisionally approved until the Board Meeting where they will be voted on.

Frequently Asked Questions

As per the Basketball Victoria rules, a player may fill in for up to two games without registering.

A player filling in will be covered under the team based fee but must be added courtside.

Referees for senior games are paid more for these games due to the increased difficulty of officiating and increased standard of officiating.

SPBA follow the rates set by the Basketball Victorian Technical Officials Commission and the increase in the Season Fee is to cover this cost.

With the current model being on a per game basis, rounds cancelled will just see teams not having to pay their game fee for that night.

For the registration cost – this goes to pre-season administration and is incurred by the Association before the season begins.

SPBA do not collect any processing fees.

There are specific processing fees depending on what option you choose which are detailed below:

  1. PlayHQ – 3.49% processing fee on top of all transactions through PlayHQ which goes direct to PlayHQ
